CILT 1 is open to 15 year olds who want to learn leadership skills that can be used in all aspects of life. Participants are encouraged to develop a sense of self as they grow in understanding of leadership styles, group dynamics and communication skills. A two-night hiking outtrip, accessible for first-time outtrippers, is a great teambuilding and leadership experience. CILTs also enjoy classic camp activities throughout their two-week stay. Open-ended discussions about the meaning of life provide opportunities for growth.
CILT 1 applicants must have turned 15 by December 31, 2026.
CILT drop off is Sunday @ 3pm. Pick up is two Saturdays later @ 10:30am.
The cost for the CILT 1 experience is $1675+HST.

Year 2 of the CILT program has a focus on counselling and other staffing skills for use in the context of camp. A two-night canoe outtrip is a great teambuilding and leadership experience for new and experienced canoers. CILT 2’s also have the opportunity to do a 1-2 week volunteer practicum (before or after the CILT session) where they are able to practice being a camp counsellor first-hand. This allows them to gain experience in working with campers while still being supervised by staff. Space is limited!
CILT 2 Applicants must have turned 16 by December 31, 2026.
CILT drop off is Sunday @ 3pm. Pick up is two Saturdays later @ 10:30am. If doing Practicum before Session, drop-off/sign-in is Sunday @ 10am at staff brunch.
CILTs stay over at camp on weekends (including consecutive session & practicum) and can have access to laundry.
The cost for the CILT 2 experience is $1675+HST.
