2021 Silver Lake Adventures Day Camp (Offsite)

Silver Lake will follow COVID protocols and take guidance from Public Health.  Schedules and programs will be modified for safety as needed.  Camps may not run due to COVID, so no fees will be collected until April at the earliest. At least 2 weeks notice will be given before fees are due. Until then there is no penalty for opting out of a camp. Please only reserve a spot if you are seriously considering a camp. Silver Lake Adventures Day Camp is action packed from 9am-4:30pm Monday to Friday (drop off  8:30-9 am) with games, crafts, nature exploration, Quest, swimming when possible and more.

Floradale (Floradale Mennonite Church)

August 9-13, 16-20, 23-27. Ages 5-15.

Day camp in Floradale! Campers will get to participate in classic camp activities, including crafts, nature, games, and initiatives lead by Silver Lake staff. This camp is a great introduction to camp for our youngest campers and a fun opportunity for older campers to continue to build relationships and learn new skills in a camp environment. Guelph (Lyon Park)

July 5-9, 12-16, 19-23, 26-30. Ages 5-15.

Day camp in Guelph! Campers will get to participate in classic camp activities, including crafts, nature, games, and initiatives lead by Silver Lake staff. This camp is a great introduction to camp for our youngest campers and a fun opportunity for older campers to continue to build relationships and learn new skills in a camp environment. Hamilton A (Hamilton Mennonite Church)

July 5-9, 12-16, 19-23, 26-30. Ages 5-15.

Day camp in Hamilton! Campers will get to participate in classic camp activities, including crafts, nature, games, and initiatives lead by Silver Lake staff. This camp is a great introduction to camp for our youngest campers and a fun opportunity for older campers to continue to build relationships and learn new skills in a camp environment. Hamilton B (Faith Gospel Church, Rosedale Community)

August 9-13, 16-20, 23-27. Ages 9-15.

Day camp in Hamilton! This day camp is for campers who are missing the outtrip experience or who are looking for some hiking! We will be adventuring and exploring the King’s Forest area, including Albion Falls.  Some traditional camp activities will be incorporated into the week.

Hanover (Hanover Park Pavillion)

July 12-16, 19-23, 26-30. Ages 9-15.

Day camp in Hanover! Campers will get to participate in classic camp activities, including crafts, nature, games, and initiatives lead by Silver Lake staff. This camp is a great introduction to camp for our youngest campers and a fun opportunity for older campers to continue to build relationships and learn new skills in a camp environment. London (Springbank Park)

August 9-13, 16-20, 23-27. Ages 5-15.

Monetville (Lichty’s Marina Canoe Camp)

August 16-20, 23-27. Ages 9-15.

Day camp on the shores of Lake Nipissing! This day camp is for campers who are missing the outtrip experience or who are looking to learn more canoe skills! We will be spending each day on the water (weather permitting!) adventuring and exploring the area, while still incorporating some traditional camp activities into the week. Ottawa A (Britannia Beach)

July 5-9, 12-16, 19-23, 26-30. Ages 5-15.

Ottawa B (Mooney’s Bay)

August 9-13, 16-20, 23-27. Ages 9-15.

Day camp in Ottawa! This day camp is for campers who are missing the outtrip experience or who are looking to learn more canoe skills! We will be spending most days on the water (weather permitting!) adventuring and exploring the area, while still incorporating some traditional camp activities into the week. We will be using this canoe access point.

Cost $305+ tax

St. Catharines (St. Catharines United Mennonite Church)

August 9-13, 16-20, 23-27. Ages 5-15.

Day camp in St. Catharines! Campers will get to participate in classic camp activities, including crafts, nature, games, and initiatives lead by Silver Lake staff. This camp is a great introduction to camp for our youngest campers and a fun opportunity for older campers to continue to build relationships and learn new skills in a camp environment. Groups will be split by age when possible so that you will have the camp experience that is right for you.

Toronto East (Toronto United Mennonite Church & Woodbine Beach):

July 5-9, 12-16, 19-23, 26-30,  August 9-13, 16-20, 23-27. Ages 5-15.

Day camp in Toronto! Campers will get to participate in classic camp activities, including crafts, nature, games, and initiatives lead by Silver Lake staff. We will also be spending lots of time at Woodbine Beach – please ensure your child has basic knowledge of water safety prior to coming to camp. This camp is a great introduction to camp for our youngest campers and a fun opportunity for older campers to continue to build relationships and learn new skills in a camp environment. Groups will be split by age when possible so that you will have the camp experience that is right for you. We will be running out of Toronto United Mennonite Church (TUMC) and Woodbine Beach.

Waterloo (Waterloo North Mennonite Church)

July 5-9, 12-16, 26-30 AND August 9-13, 16-20, 23-27. Ages 5-15.

This camp is a great introduction to camp for our youngest campers and a fun opportunity for older campers to continue to build relationships and learn new skills in a camp environment. Please note: August 9-13 will be Teen Camp at Waterloo North. This week will have activities geared towards teenage campers and a a smaller age range so that teens can be with their peers. Ages 12-16.
