Board of Directors

SLMC has grown into a multi-faceted organization including summer camp, outdoor education, retreats and rentals.  Silver Lake is governed by an elected Board of Directors who protect and direct Silver Lake. Ultimately, they are responsible for SLMC’s strategic direction and overall performance, and by adhering to good governance practices, they ensure SLMC can accomplish its future goals while being true to it’s mission and values. Board Members are appointed to 3 year terms at the Annual Meeting (spring) and may serve a maximum of 2 terms.

Staff are encouraged to apply for any applicable grants.  Much thanks to generous donors!

Grants for Staff for the 2024 Spring/ Summer Season

Adventure4Change: $1,000 Grant

This grant is available for one staff from the Adventure4Change community who is working a minimum of 5 weeks during the 2024 spring or summer season at SLMC.

Grants are disbursed after completion of the contracted weeks of work so long as the staff has completed the weeks of work and is in good standing with SLMC.
