What do you see? What do you feel? What is God inviting you to see and know with your heart? “Seeing with the Heart” is an invitation to slow down, use your camera and reflect on what God is inviting you to see and know with your heart through nature and scripture. This retreat is an opportunity to spend time in nature. Go for a walk with your camera. Slow down. Record with your camera what you notice then look at what has been recorded digitally. Choosing one image, explore which scripture is in conversation with the photo and with us. Seeing with the Heart is a spiritual disciple which combines being outdoors, photography, reflection and scripture. Retreat led by Ruth Boehm.
Two nights accommodation (Saturday breakfast to Sunday breakfast) included. This is a small retreat, so space is limited. Sign up soon to save your spot!

The theme, Circle of Friends, reminds us that we are not alone. Using sharing circles, we will share our stories, seek wisdom together and draw from our collective strength. Tanya Dyck Steinmann, spiritual director; Suzanne Bender, musician and Marg Hull, yoga instructor will create space throughout the weekend to help us reconnect body, mind and soul. Come, experience the beauty of creation. Be nourished by the relaxed pace, good food and meaningful conversation. Play in the snow, breathe deeply in yoga, try soul collage, cross country ski, go on a late night snowshoe hike through the woods, laugh into the wee hours of the night. Come, the circle is welcoming and wide. Let’s make it wider still!
Take time away to reconnect and enjoy a weekend away together. No meals to make. No obligations pulling you in different directions. Time to relax and breathe deeply to rejuvenate. Wake up to the sounds of nature. Enjoy the fire. Find yourself in good conversation, savouring delicious food, tuning into workshops and enjoying time outdoors. Led by Hendrike and Matthew Isert Bender who have many years of experience leading couples’ retreats.
